River tours on the "Monroe", exploring the past....

Heritage-Eco Boat Tour This tour is scheduled for every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM. The
tour guide will discuss the various ways the Pre-Columbian river dwellers may have used the vast resources
available along the river in their daily lives. Interpretation of various plants and wildlife that might be viewed on
the trip makes the trip an "interactive" experience for the visitor.
The cost is $10.00 for adults and $8.00 per child 7 to 12. Children under 6 are free.
Each tour takes about 1½ hours. Group tours available (call in advance). Call (352) 795-3817 for more details.
Educational classes and monthly movies and boat trips are offered at the Crystal River Preserve State Park. For
more details select the PRESERVE link on the Home page.
