Celebrate National Trails Day on June 7th. The Nature Coast Volkssport Club, “the Ramblers”, will be hosting two walks on our 2.1 mile Eco-Walk trail that day. Basic hike at 8:00 AM. Guided family hike at 9:00 AM. Meet at the Eco-Walk trail head at the intersection of N. Tallahassee Road and Curtis Tool Road, off U.S. 19. Or celebrate National Trails Day by walking any one of Crystal River State Park's trails.


Regularly scheduled events at Crystal River Preserve State Park

Sunset Cruise. The last Friday of the month. Tour time varies slightly throughout the year based upon time of sun set. Depart the Crystal River Preserve Visitor Center docks for a delightful 2-hour SUNSET CRUISE on the Crystal River. Travel out into the Gulf for a spectacular sunset. Refreshments and snacks will be available. Adults: $10.00, Children under 12: $8.00. Advance tickets available in the Preserve Visitor Center. For more information call the Park office at 352-563-0450. (Rest rooms are available in the Visitor Center, but not onboard the vessel.) Heritage – Eco River Tours “The Ancient River Dwellers”. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; 10:30 am and 1:30 pm; nearly 1 ˝ hours long. Depart the Crystal River Preserve Visitor Center docks for a narrated tour out to the mouth of the river. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife while learning why and how the native people came to dwell along the Crystal River. Adults: $10.00, Children age 7 - 12: $8.00, Under age 6 free Tickets go on sale in the Preserve Visitor Center 1-hour prior to departure. For more information call the Park office at 352-563-0450. Redfish Revue Movie Night. On the third Saturday of each month the park hosts the Redfish Revue Theatre. We show two award winning documentaries each month. These movies are free to the public and sign up is not required. The matinee runs 3:00 - 5:00 PM and the evening showing is from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The movies are shown in our conference room.
